Jobs just announced the 3G iPhone with the .2G price. I was running over to Twitter to give my stream-of-consciousness an outlet (something like &#8220;For $200, how can I <em>not<\/em> afford an iPhone?&#8221;), only to find the following:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.jedbrubaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitter_fail.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-154\" title=\"Twitter (and my stream of consciousness) is down!\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.jedbrubaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitter_fail.gif\" alt=\"Twitter (and my stream of consciousness) is down!\" width=\"450\" height=\"194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.whatknows.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitter_fail.gif 450w, https:\/\/www.whatknows.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitter_fail-300x129.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE: <\/strong>Those Twitter peeps are quick ones. It seems that they found the image above as unsettling as I did. But I am left wondering if I am the whale or the birds. Or perhaps the birds are my tweets and the whale is my unconscious? (Let&#8217;s be honest, there is something narcissistic about tweeting.)<\/p>\n<p>Or perhaps it is a representation of the millions of tweeters burying the behemoth of iPhone 2.0 rumors.
