Queer Studies Symposium. The two-day symposium is on April 17th and 18th at the University of Maryland, <strong>and its <span style=\"text-transform: upper;\">FREE<\/span>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am presenting craigslist and anonymous online behavior research as part of a session entitled <span class=\"style3\"><strong>Regulation, Surveillance, and Queer Challenges to the State <\/strong>(obviously composing the &#8216;regulation&#8217; portion).<\/span> But don&#8217;t come for me &#8211; The symposium is bringing in academics including <span class=\"style1\"><a class=\"whiteonblack\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gws.uiuc.edu\/People\/faculty\/somerville\/index.htm\">Siobhan Somerville<\/a><\/span>, <a class=\"whiteonblack\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cla.umn.edu\/american\/faculty\/core\/ferguson2.htm\">Roderick Ferguson<\/a>, and their inevitable groupies.<\/p>\n<p>Ramzi Fawaz and Ben Richfield, two DC-based colleagues of mine, will also be presenting work.
